Make sure to try the T-Bone and Shrimp Special! The steak is truly impressive. The service was great, the food was excellent, and you can't beat the price for such a beautiful cut of meat! Driving to Castroville to visit Fernando will definitely become a weekly tradition for us.

I visited Fernando's in Castroville for the first time, and it was fantastic! I ordered a Mexican plate, while Nabeby had the T-bone. We both received generous portions—enough for leftovers for the next day! We will definitely be trying other dishes in the future!

You cannot beat the service and food at Fernandos! They always feel like family, and their prices are very affordable. Where else in the area, besides a stripe joint, can you get a 22 oz thick T-bone with frits or a baking potato and a small salad for 14.99? You can't. Other items from the menu that should definitely try: grilled shrimp plate (10.50 , chicken friend steak, chicken and dumplings (my favorite! Chicken salad Croissant, and everything you can eat catfish on Friday. I would like to point out something else; I only introduced my dad to this place in 2008 or 2009 and since then visited a few times every month. When he got sick last year, Fernando Medrano came to me on the FB to check him, and let me know he was praying for my family. At a time when companies were injured due to CV19, he still took the time to get out and we appreciated the thoughts very much. We love this place and enjoy the food with them. Stop, they won't disappoint!

This is a fantastic restaurant! My kids feel right at home here, and the food is amazing. Everything is made fresh, and the staff treats you like family. Thank you, Fernando, and God bless you!
