Wow, I was incredibly impressed by this hidden gem on a simple website! We ordered the shredded beef enchiladas, crispy tacos, 2 huge breakfast tacos, and a couple of cheeseburgers with curly fries. Everything was delicious.
A taco a day keeps the doctor away. Amen. I think this quaint little spot has changed names: now Pop 's Cafe, this unassuming family-owned business did not disappoint. Their breakfast tacos were delightful and the service was perfect. Go with the green sauce: it was all the right kind of spicy.
Visited this place today for breakfast looking for something different and get away from the hustle and bustle of San Antonio. Wow!! This family owned business is awesome!!! You have to drive from San Antonio to come try the French toast! I've eaten all over the US and these are the best French toast ever! Everything was cooked to perfection. Kudos to the chef. So if you want something homemade and not in a hurry (because everything is made fresh) then come try this place in Castroville. You will not be disappointed. This will be my new favorite place for breakfast and French toast.
