The Habit Burger Grill - Castro Valley

I ordered 2 orders of tempura green beans and a side Caesar salad without meat, totaling $28 after tip. Unfortunately, the green beans were overcooked, very tough, dry, and some were burnt. I couldn't eat them. Essentially, I paid $28 for a $6 salad to be delivered. Disappointed because their quality is usually high!

The burger was delicious, but the bun was a little dry. I always enjoy the Santa Barbara Char burger at Habit, but this time it was just slightly off. Thanks.

Make sure to request extra dressing for the Grilled Chicken Caesar or any salad. The dressing is thick, so you'll need more. Adding bacon for extra protein is a good choice. I tried the Charburger with Cheese in a lettuce wrap and I have to say, it's more well-put-together than In-N-Out.

The Grilled Chicken sandwich with pineapple and teriyaki was great, but missing the added grilled onions. The BBQ Bacon Char had no bacon, and included tomatoes and onions, which we had excluded. Onion Rings were crispy and delicious.

Food is us great but I have consis over 4 times at least) where I did not get my Ranch despite my addin extra at cost) and see it on the pick ticket/receipt plain as day! Despite these issues im gonna roll the dice aga today with new order! Cross myfingers Burgers always great.
