The price of top, for the quality they sell. Service very efficient. Hope to eat there soon, when i get another N2 travel.

Warmfull environment. Enjoyed the rice with beans and smoked sausages. Very simple menu and physical space, with attentive and pleasant hosts.

Although this restaurant is recommended in several guides as a place to eat good basic typical portuguese food, I found that preparation is well below what I expected. Located just next to the A24 highway, near Castro Daire, this is a large restaurant with no atmosphere whatsoever with lack of light and a very basic decoration. The choice is quite small and based mainly on a beans rice either with smoked meat or with some fried vegetable pakura that is so course and thick that it looses all appeal very quickly. The rice is tasty but completely overcooked. I later discovered that they cook large quantities of it and it becomes more and more cooked until it gets to your table. Such a rice should be made fresh. Avoid if possible.

Provámos o famoso arroz de feijão com salpicão e não desiludiu! Estava bem confeccionado e com o pão saído do forno, soube muito bem! Serviço rápido e simpático.
