Burger King Belfast Drumkeen

I ordered a vegan royal with bacon and vegan nuggets at this restaurant, but received chicken nuggets instead of the vegan ones. The nuggets were packaged with the meat and, upon opening them, I discovered they were chicken. The burger was also incorrect, as someone had placed a meat royale in the vegan royale packaging, hiding real bacon at the bottom. It was clear that the food was all meat, not plant-based. Despite calling the restaurant to explain the mistake, they did not listen and were unhelpful. I am disappointed by this mix-up and believe whoever switched the items should be held accountable. As someone who has not eaten meat in years, I could have become seriously ill if I had not realised the error.

Got home to watch the footy, everything was fine with families order except my Xl Bacon Double Cheeseburger.. Which had no bacon.. Sigh, first BK, in a month and they got it wrong, and not worth 20min round trip to get it fixed.

The service at this restaurant was excellent, so no complaints in that department. However, I was disappointed with the plant-based burger as it was very tasteless. The only flavor came from the dressing. I have tried the Burger King Impossible Burger in the United States and found it to be a much better alternative to this mediocre imitation.

I have visited this Burger King many times over the years when I've been in a hurry. The food may not be gourmet, but I have always found it to be edible. It's fast food done right!
