Subway - Castlegar

The Fish and Chips were disgusting the cook does not know the basiks,you always coat the fish with flour before battering,mine had spotty batter which was burnt

I went to the Subway in Castlegar with the intent of a sandwich. My friend suggested a salad. I was sceptical but was pleasantly surprised. While they use iceberg lettuce, don't let that fool you. The wealth and breadth of ingredients is rich with flavour and choices. I added chicken to provide a taste of protein. They heated the chicken, which I prefer, and it was topped with a spicy dressing. A great meal.

The staff are friendly and efficient They remember our visits and choices of sandwiches.Iit is a regular lunch stop when we visit Castlegar.

I can't go wrong choosing Subway. I always love the food. Only problem is the "sandwich artists" just seem to be younger and younger and often I get callous service. One time the girl answered the phone while wearing the gloves and then tried to continue making my sandwich with the SAME gloves on! It would be inexscusable except the girl hardly looked 16. She didn't get upset when I pointed t out to her and made me a delicious wrap
