The Olive Tree - Castlebar

There is a pretty good vegan section on their new menu. the employees understand themselves about veganism, which is not the case in many restaurants in this opposite. they have many vegan alternatives on ready (e.g.: milk, or vegan tasty to go with a tee or coffee.)

Visited here while in the area. Impressive selection on the vegan menu. I got the kebab and it was a massive portion. The staff were nice as is the atmosphere. Would definitely go back here If back in Castlebar

There is a separate vegan menu which had a varied selection of items on it, plus desserts! I had the kebab which was amazing really tasty and a great size portion! The staff were all really friendly and the decor was authentic.

We've been here twice and can testify to the high standards. Recently they have produced a fully dedicated vegan menu. The mixed bean tajine was delicious as was the pakora filled pitta. Try the chunky chips for a taste of very local produce.

Love The Olive Tree. Often go for lunch. Vast vegan menu with vegan specials also served. The owner Mustapha is lovely.
