Glen Iris Inn - Castile

Amazing ambience! The middle case is right in front of the front door. The inn also has a dining area inside and outside outdoors. If you want to dine outdoors in the dining area, you should wait. The service is excellent and the food is top notch. The Shrimp and Scallops Bisque is a must and so is the Betty Berry Shortcake! The portion sizes are largish, so order accordingly. The place is perfect for a romantic short holiday and had the "Kozy" feeling! As a precaution during the COVID-19, each room is cleaned and sanitary and sealed before check-in. A must visit place, highly recommended!

Great location! The rooms are clean and the Inn is beautifully maintained, it also has a cute library with beautiful windows overlooking the Middle Falls. The food at the restaurant is super, attentive and friendly staff(Lance and Lynette Thanks! Check-in is very helpful. Total ambience! The Upper Falls are a short walk from the Inn. Also try the Betty Berry Shortcake in the restaurant!

The service at the restaurant is excellent. I ordered the steak with poutine, which was a bit salty, but the portion size was generous. My husband had the turkey, which he really enjoyed, and he also liked the berry cake served with a scoop of ice cream. I opted for the Glen Iris coffee that was made with Irish cream, Grand Marnier, and Kahlua. The leaves in Letchworth Park are at about 80% of their peak color, and the outdoor temperature was around 60 degrees. We requested outdoor seating, and our server kindly helped us move our table to a sunnier spot in the garden to keep warm. The restrooms are clean, and we will definitely be back!

I had dinner there, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. The food was excellent, so be sure to leave room for dessert—it was absolutely delicious! The staff was very friendly, and I appreciated how clean everything was. It was clear that they worked hard to maintain safety measures regarding COVID.

We are staying here at the Inn and had dinner here the night we arrived and it was so wonderful that we came back again the second night. First class dining! My Shrimp Genesee was amazing as was the Pesto Chicken and Shrimp on the first night. Service was excellent! We'll be back for sure!
