In the land of the holy patron of the gorge, in Castelnuovo Belbo, the Cristina 's cooking home restaurant is the right place where you can rediscover ancient flavors and dishes of the tradition revisited by the wise hands of Cristina who makes of passion for food and good food, the strength of this little jewel. Having already reviewed in February 2021 I do not dilute myself on locarion and other details. We come to the sodo... the put en place, in its simplicity is level. Every detail is carefully treated. Food (all is homemade, bread and bread included) is a joy not only for the palate but also for the eyes. Special friciula to taste with the typical salami as a snack. Not to mention the appetizers among which mention, among others, the ruspante galletto with onion of tropea and lime sauce and the delicate peppers to the monferrina. First from applause (I made the bis).... cutlets to the ortics with mountain butter to the scent of mint. A very soft pork fillet to beer as a second and, to conclude, as a dessert, an amazing white truffle covered and cheese cake. Honest price (30 € all included). I conclude by saying that you feel at home and are pampered. Cristina and her husband Massimo know how to make you comfortable without ever being intrusive, indeed, speaking with them in front of a good coffee and a bitter is a pleasure. As I said I had already reviewed the place and I can only repeat myself.... everything exceptionally perfect!! Thank you very much for the warm hospitality and for what you can offer to customers.

I recommend it 100%. It's excellent! Genuine food and family staff exquisite. Everything is taken care of in detail: from dishes, to location, to table! Bravo!

Local food at km 0 prepared with passion and creativity. Genuine tastes presented with refinement. Home restaurant because you feel at home but the dishes are of high cuisine, all particular and surprising. Careful, friendly and kind staff. To return at different times to try the chef's estro with the various seasonal products.

I recommend it to anyone who goes to Castelnuovo Belbo, the owners are very kind, and the kitchen is really fabulous.
