Auberge La Caleche - Castelnaudary

Very cute place for brunchI found it when I was hungry while doing my laundry across the streetI had a tasty ham and cheese omelette.

Both of their chefs are creep. They stare at you like they have never seen a human being. Food was ok. Toilet was broken and light wasn't working.

We discovered this place in our neighbourhood and went their the first time. It's a family business, the husband is dining the kitchen and the wife the restaurant. There where a few tables occupied and we had a warm welcome. The food we ordered was good and well presented. Good local win list reasonable priced. I believe a place where you can also go with a family. However not so easy to find in the small village but parking is not a problem in the streets outside the restaurant.

Yes this place is a little run down, its a family run business which is a little tired. Madame is a little grumpy but can smile. The food is nice and very French as expected. We have been a number of times with friends and have always had a nice , but sometimes strange, evening !!!!!
