Little Italy - Castelluccio dei sauri

My wife and I are staying in Castelluccio Valmaggiore for a couple of days to visit friends, and last night we wanted a little snack to tide us over to dinner. So we came here and asked for a plate of salumi. The nice lady brought it, then brought another one, both with various sliced meat and cheese, and a basket of fresh sliced bread. Then she brought a plate of crostini. Then she brought a bowl of this really great local dish consisting of dumplings made of bread, pecorino, and eggs. She smiled sort of sheepishly and said in Italian, “its a little too much, I know, but..” Everything was great, and we felt bad for not eating it all. Highly recommended if you’re in town.

We brought my father-in-law to visit the home of his family to his 90th birthday. it was a rainy day and we decided to stop a lunch. we visited the restaurant little italy and were treated as family. an incredible experience I will remember forever. eating was amazing. the service was incredible. if they all experience this beautiful little place, they will not be disappointed. it was the highlight of our visit. for the family of little italy thanks that they feel the family ramparts so welcome.
