Casa Juanito - Castelló de la Plana

We had lunch in Casa Juanito last Sunday.The waiter was told that my plate was to have no salt added due to a recent heart problem. This was made very clear. When it arrived it had a very liberal covering of salt. I did not want to make a fuss or cause a delay for the meals of our guests but I could only eat the fish after scraping the salt off. We told the waiter who served us and he said he had written it down on the order for the kitchen, it was not his fault, shrugged his shoulders and walked off. I am lucky that I do not have an allergy that could cause serious problems such as with nuts. The attitude of the staff was disgraceful and we would not return.

We had lunch there today. Our Spanish is limited and the menu was not in English. The waiter was awesome with equally limited English he talked us through and the menu. Ultimately we had no idea what we were ordering and was blown away by the meals we received. The service was exceptional friendly professional while casual. The food was out of this world. We ended up sitting eating and talking for two hours. It is HIGHLY recommended.

The best, you must go. The food is fresh, you must try any fish, paella.. The owner, Miss Magdalena and the waiter make our day happy. Usually is open 12pm to 01.00 am

Muy profesionales los camareros, exquisita la paella de verduras y es la tercera en una semana. El arroz suelto, Justita de sal y estupenda verdura. Las tollinas y zamburiñas muy ricas . Salímos contentos y repetiremos

Muy buen arroz a banda y excelentes sus mejillones y tellinas. Los postres muy ricos y un carta de vinos muy interesante.
