We stayed at the restaurant Al Fogher in Codissago di Castellavazzo in July 2023 for lunch: the first impression is that of a very dated and definitely to modernize, but with a large room and tables with tablecloths in fabric. The menu is read by the owner: we ate tortelli with mushrooms with walnut sauce, tagliatelle with finferli, pappardelle with mixed mushrooms, a portion of gulash with polenta, house wine, water and two coffees, for a total of Euro 58.50. All very good. Fast service since it was just us! A pleasant discovery!
I had lunch with my family. The place is dated, it seems that time has stopped but maybe just for that I appreciated it. The very kind owner explained the dishes of the day with products of the territory. Excellent tagliatelle with the game and the second with cheese and speck fusi!
Last Saturday, in an excursion between Veneto and Friuli to the rediscovery of the history of the places we enjoyed a break-dining of typical cuisine: tasty and delicate, cooked on the fireplace (the fogher that is part of the name of the local): mushrooms, polenta and a delicious pastin, with a contour of grilled vegetables. Red wine of the house and final tiramisu really good. I enjoyed the welcome and discretion of the managers and the pleasant warmth of the stove in this traditional restaurant. By now it is fixed stage every time you go to the area! Recommended for those who like tranquility combined with a good local product and in the variety of choice in the menu (both restaurant and pizzeria with wood oven) . Very friendly, uncompromising and handy manager!!!!! Efficient service and impeccable organization, good price! Recommended!!
