Garbi - Castell-Platja d'Aro

We have been eating at the Terrace of the Gavina for many years, and tend to go many times during the summer months. The place is in a wonderful setting and it is a nice place for a light dinner. The prices have always been quite high but the setting and food quality would make it worth it. Not anymore. Lately the food is offered cold and flavourless, the wine warm, and the service seems overwhelmed and under trained. Such a pity, I hope they will try to amend things and make it again like it used to be.

Paco and his staff make this restaurant! They are charming and direct you to the very best on the extensive menu. Lovely to eat in the open air beside the pool of the Hostal de la Gavina.

It is in line the La Gavina place. If the service is perfect and the views over the village is great. The menu is perfect. Only a simple example. Who does think that the childs will choose vegetables? Taste the wok. My teenagers and baby clean the dish like they were posessed... Only a dot. The usage of the swimming pool has been restricted only to the hotel guest.
