Osteria N1 - CASSANO ALL'IONIO

Given so many restaurants locally sell Pizza or pasta, thought I would try something different. Had a very bland seafood risotto, seafood cooked well, prawns tasty. The overall mix though lacked flavour and that was unexpected when in southern Italy. Overall the area was deserted and this one of the few locations open, given this they really should have worked harder on the flavour, to keep customers returning. They also charged 2 euros cover charge each but failed to serve bread, so no idea what that charge was for.

We seriously loved it there! The atmosphere, the people and of course the food! Luca (the tall one with the curly hair and Giuseppe were extremely friendly and it almost feels like they are friends by now : The Pizza was also approved by our Italian friends. SO yummy! Can highly recommend for the full Italian experience :

La prima volta che siamo stati a mangiare qui è stato ad Agosto del 2019 esperienza eccellente mangiammo i panni divini.....ci siamo ritornati ad Agosto di quest'anno e non ci siamo per niente pentiti io ho preso la grigliata mista veramente eccezionale mio marito e due dei miei figli panini super buoni il.mio piccolino cotoletta e patatine ottima l unica cosa che nn c'è piaciuta la pizza però per il resto tutto ottimo.......ci rivedremo l anno prossimo.....consiglio tanto questa osteria

Abbiamo cenato alla fine di agosto in questo ristorante all'aperto. Abbiamo gustato molti antipasti di pesce, tutti molto buoni, e degli ottimi spaghetti allo scoglio. Il maitre ci ha consigliato di assaggiare il tiramisù della casa ed è stata una piacevole sorpresa: ottimo, così come i liquori fatti in casa.

Piatti accettabili....non di poco prezzo. Ma farsi pagare gli amari !!!
