Mouthful - Casper

We stopped by this restaurant while passing through Casper, and we were truly impressed! It's a locally owned establishment that emphasizes locally sourced ingredients. When we sat down with our family, Tyler came out to greet us. He’s the founder of the restaurant, and we were excited to learn that he built it from the ground up in 2016. The food was outstanding; we all ordered different dishes – a salad, a burger, nachos – and we were amazed by the quality and flavor. It took us a little while to find the place since it's located behind a liquor store (I believe it's called Moonlight Liquors), but it was absolutely worth it!

The food here is simply outstanding! They constantly introduce new burger creations, which keeps things exciting. The location inside the brewery is a fantastic bonus. The service is excellent as well! Plus, you get a breathtaking view of Casper and the mountains. It's a family-friendly spot too, so feel free to bring the kids!

The only challenge is locating the restaurant, as it is situated inside a bar. The service was fantastic, even with the staff being overwhelmed by takeout orders, deliveries, and walk-ins coming in from the bar side. I ordered the Sweet Sriracha burger from their seasonal menu, and it was incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced, featuring ground beef with fire-roasted jalapeños, pineapple, Sriracha, and mayo. The combination of the jalapeño and Sriracha created a delightful heat that exceeded my expectations. The sweetness of the pineapple complemented the spice beautifully, and the mayo helped to mellow the heat. My only minor critique is that the pineapple chunks were a little larger than I would have preferred, although they were fresh and delicious. However, the bread fries were a standout for me. When a restaurant serves fries this good, I knew I was in for a treat for the rest of the meal. I also had the opportunity to chat with the owner, and his passion for running his restaurant was evident. That drive is something that’s often lacking in today's world of corporate eateries. If you're in Casper or just passing through, make sure to seek out Mouthful. You’ll be thrilled you did—it's truly a hidden gem!

Love the food here! I keep hoping they will open a location closer to where we live (East Casper) as we would eat here a lot more often. Absolutely love their BBQ burger. Only negative, I wish they had more healthy food options. I’ve recently had to make dietary changes and they don’t have many options available to me.

This is the best burger in town, likely to be one of the best you've ever had. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming.
