We were a little early and the place was empty. The service was friendly and efficient. We have a large and delicious pizza with lots of salami, cheese, vegetables, spices etc. Very tasty and well done. We'll be back.
After a day at the zoo we were looking for a place to rest and eat, and since Renato was the simple answer. It is conveniently located between the Zoo Magliaso and the train station. It has a decent indoor and outdoor area. When we were there, a Swiss birthday party took place, and we wanted to see each other. So we discovered the huge hall they could offer for parties and larger assemblies. The staff was friendly, attentive and very patient with children. You also have a visual children's menu and a small children's corner to play and draw. They only speak Italian, and the menu is written only in Italian and German, but somehow we could still pass. The one I didn't like is that I wanted to order a children's pizza for my toddlers to share, and then maybe add one more if they are still hungry. But the waiter insisted and insisted that the children's pizza is really very small and never enough for a child, not even a two-year-old! So he made me buy two, but then it turned out that the pizza is quite large, and, as I expected, the children don't eat half of them and I had to take many remains home with me. I ordered a tomato cream soup and a cordon ball, and they were both just good: I had better... I had worse. And the little surprise at the end was the 5 CHF discount on the bill that the restaurant gives to the zoo visitors when they prove they were there the same day.
Were there for the first time and will come again. The food was very good and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Price performance absolutely fine.
I was there again, I think the pizza gets better with every visit!
The best pizza of my life several times during the summer holidays for years.... the fine surface is a dream... But what makes the main difference is the thin yet airy dough... simply amazing...
