Now, what can I say, everything was just perfect from beginning to end. we had tuna... tartars and oysters for the starter and both had steak and wild boar for the net and was just wow! can not recommend this place enough. It has only one of the best meal times we have in italia and definitiw the most pleasant experience. our waitress, julia, was polite, professional and extremely welcoming. comes back. in any case worth a visit!
Apperitvo on the terrace. a beautiful room. great for a special occasion. very good food. romantic atmosphere.
We stayed at the villa contarini nenzi hotel and on the first night the hotel held a high time that had taken over the restaurant, so we were asked if it was good in the breakfast room. the food turned out to be excellent, along with the crying. the service staff was also excellent and we enjoyed a light, hearty chatter with them. the next night we ate in the restaurant right. eating here was not on the same standard as the previous night. the service was surly, but the wee were still very good. it was almost as if we were in two different spaces that had different kitchens and waiting staff. there was a conference that took place in the hotel and were therefore a large number of people in the restaurant, but that should have been offered. after the first night I sung praise, but the second at night managed to strike a star.
Not wanting to brave the crowds in Venice for Easter Sunday, we made reservations at Le Scuderie at Villa Contarini Nenzi Hotel Spa outside of Treviso. First, there is ample parking. Approaching the restaurant through the grounds of the Villa certainly puts one in...a tranquil state of mind to enjoy great food, and they did not disappoint! The fixed menu lunch started with the Prosecco which is the wine of the region accompanied by a goat cheese and fresh herb appetiser. Next was a totally unique truffled coddled egg with asparagus sprinkles followed by a delicious spinach pasta lasagna stuffed with white ragu covered in Asiago sauce. The baked cabrito accompanied with a type of peperonata and smoked potato was also very tasty. The sorbet and strawberry dessert were the weak spot of the menu in my view, but perhaps I was so satisfied by all that came before it that I couldn't give it my full attention. The service was attentive and when we raised a concern, the maitre'd gave it his immediate attention and resolved it to our complete satisfaction.
