Thumb Brewery - Caseville

Kona Coffee Stout is one of the best stouts I've ever tasted! I even brought home a growler of it. The restaurant is dog-friendly, and they kindly provided our dog with a bowl of water. I can't wait to return in the summer! It would be fantastic to see more vegan and plant-based options on the food menu.

I also tried their Blueberry and Watermelon beers, but they were a bit too hoppy for my liking, as I prefer beers without a bitter taste. The two other beers I wanted to try were sold out. Additionally, the staff wasn't particularly friendly. When a third person joined us, rather than relocating us to an available table, they simply added a chair to our small table right in the walkway. Meanwhile, they seated two other guests at the four-top right next to us, which was also in the same waitress's section. The three stars I gave are primarily due to the activities happening at the restaurant, like the dog costume contest and the live music, which made the overall experience much more enjoyable.

Understaffed, common these days. $4 for small handful of fries, overpriced. Pesto chicken sandwich was tasty. Burger was cold. Service was polite. Nothing to rave about. During the half hour wait, went inside to get a beer. Was told no.

Enjoyed the beautiful, dog-friendly patio for dinner and drinks. They have an extensive list of guest taps in addition to their house brews, so there?s a lot of variety. The menu is limited to mostly flat breads and burgers in addition to some apps. Itried the Wednesday Walleye sandwich special and it was delicious. They gave our doggy a bowl of water and some treats, and lotsof pets. He was so happy! Definitely worth a stop for food and drinks while in caseville!

Service is usually pretty rocky, and food is just okay.
