Agriturismo Cascina Argentera

The Cascina Argentera is located in one of the many villages just outside the city of Turin, this being very close to its airport (Caselle). The farmhouse (cascina) is located close to the end of a dead end lane and the building has been nicely restored with a very pleasant inner courtyard that offer seats and even additional tables. The main restaurant is on the ground floor and the cuisine is homely. When I went there the meal consisted of a selection of starters, two pasta courses, a main course (a traditional roast) with vegetables, dessert, coffee and wine. The total price per person was just around 30 Euros, so excellent value. Service is efficient but this isn't a 5 star hotel of course! All in all a very good choice, especially at the attractive price. With a slightly greater variety and perhaps inexpensive touches like a little salad with the main course, maybe a cheese board at a supplement too, oh, and better coffee, this place could turn from very good to excellent.

We had dinner in this beautiful structure with our customers and we made a great figure; excellent food and staff hospitable and courteous. to come back for sure.
