We placed a large order for food and for drinks for 6 people and also to have tap water (ie. not in a bottle and free). They were reluctant and we had to ask several times. Eventually the waiter brought me a glass of water that had very clearly had a lot of salt poured into it and he said their water was this salty and perhaps I would not like it. I walked him back to his own taps and a perfectly fine glass of water which they then gave us glasses of. The food here is good but, sadly, it is hard to trust that they would not cut other corners and do other things which are not in the customer’s best interests.
The exterior of this fantastic Indian restaurant is so unassuming you might pass it by, but that would be a huge mistake. Having relocated to the area 5 weeks ago, we're kicking ourselves for not discovering this gem on day one. We shared samosas, Chana masala, chicken tikka masala, butter naan, and a manga dessert and everything was delicious. The staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was lovely. We will be back! (Sorry that I was so busy eating I only snapped a pic of the beer!
This understated restaurant is one of the best Indian eateries on the planet I traveled to Andrah Pradesh for the biryani, and like Taj's more. I have been going here for 12 years now, and make time for them whenever I am in Portugal.
Nice environment. Excellent service. Very authentic. Prices about a euro more than expected but servings larger as well. Tried a salty Lassi for the first time and loved it. Vegetable with spinach curry seemed a bit bland but could have just been my taste buds today. All in all, a great place. I'd go back.
Bardzo smaczne, dobrze doprawione jedzenie, mila obsługa oraz przystępne ceny. Polecam miejsce.
