Pastelaria Bonjour - Cascais

I recently ordered a cake for a 50th birthday and when i went to collect I noted it was nothing like the image I had provided. to make things worse, they had forgotten to put the name of the person on the print, and had put it on top (old style TipEx on top of the image). The owner's son pretended there was nothing wrong and proceeded to be ofended that I noticed the error. to make things worse, when I voiced my disappointement and asked why I was not contacted or told they couldn't do as I asked, he proceeded to say he wouldn't sell the cake and I should not return! .... thank you for making this 50th birthday memorable! I had no choice and ended up having to ask to be sold it as it was 19h00 the day of the birthday not a situation one wants to be in. if you want to buy what you ask for and a worry free celebration, don't go here! i did use them in the past, have been a customer for years and am appalled by how badly and rudely i was treated and very disappointed. I have supported this business for years!!!

Overrun by adolescents school kids grouping tables into one, large noisy, disruptive group. No way to enjoy quiet coffee or lunch and the management are passively accepting their disruptions with no rules or intervention to quiet these horrible students

This is likely one of the best 'pastelarias ' in the Cascais area.<br/ Most (if not all), of the dishes are prepared by them, and they have high quality; sometimes, you can even buy cakes that are still hot from the oven. The staff is nice and quick at their job, even when the place is crowded, and if they can help you get the best experience, they generally will. Besides, there 's always an empty park space nearby.<br/ <br/ If you 're in the area and you want to have a quick meal, or purchase some kind of cake, I strongly suggest you stop by and visit this place chances are that you won 't end up disappointed with the experience!
