Lovely restaurant. At a great location at the beginning of Cascais. The people working there, who also owned the place, were extremely kind and the food was delicious. I can definitely recommend their pizza's and the brownie! We kept coming back after our first meal here and had a great time every time. Beautiful view of the sea when the weather is nice. Very much worth a visit.
CLOSED at the end of Summer 2013...sadly, as they brought good variety to local options. Great location so we're hopeful something will move in here and offer a menu that's out of the ordinary.
We found this blue/yellow indoor/outdoor restaurant purely by coincidence! And how lucky we were, we managed to return almost every single night during our week long holiday on the Cascais coast. All the other restaurants we saw were either way to formal for our families with kids or the typical tourist venues with the usual menu. The restaurant one of a few is set in a lovely courtyard overlooking the sea. Seating inside/outside. Extensive menu with some interesting choices. Pizzas, brownies and the apple crumble are to die for. Service, amongst others by the two lovely Swedish sisters, is very friendly and accomodating. Don't be in a hurry, as service is not extremely quick, but that did not bother us at all. Kids could run around in the courtyard or climb the trees while we were enjoying our wine at the table. The weather was not too great during our July holiday but the restaurant provided blankets when the evening was getting too chilly.
What a lovely, relaxing location. Trees provided shade from the sun, and the views over the Atlantic were beautiful. Perhaps the only place in the Casa de Guia that isn't overpriced. Food is huge portions and extremely tasty.
