There was so much salt that I had to pried my wedding off before bed. The sausage pasty was very British, meaning no real flavor. My wife's chicken pie was better, but not the creamy and sause like filling that you would expect. Again, like a thick paste. I was hoping for an experience like the posts and was heartbroken the I had to throw out most of my pie due to saltiness. Sorry guys, I hate giving bad reviews, but I could have gotten a better pie from the frozen section of safeway. On the good side, your mashed potatoes are really good. Options of onions too?
This place was amazing and unique. They have so many different types of meat pies to try and topping you can put on them. They make all their pies from scratch and the food doesn't taste mass produced. The server I had was very friendly and gave very impassioned recommendations which I couldn't ignore. I highly recommend their mashed potatoes and gravy as well as their picked veggies. They make the pickle veggies there as well. If you can't decide on the pie you want they do sell them frozen so you could take a few home and try the others later. They have nice specialy coctails, I had the red stag. I am disappointed about how the one I got didnt end up looking like the picture or the other ones i saw in the reviews. I would definitely come back again and bring a friend. Definitely a gem to visit in renton. My biggest complaint is it can be hard to find parking. This place is amazing
Very good, informative attentive server. Unique food. We would go back to try something different.
Omg! How did it take me so long to come here!? The vibes, food and drinks are just amazing. My wife got the steak and mushroom pie and I got the Irish stew. 10/10 I can't wait to come back. If you want some great comfort food, this is it!!
We’ve driven bye so many times….recently tried this place during “Happy Hour” on a Weekday. Hubby had the Steak Mushroom, full of flavor, no doubt about that! Soooo, good! Mine? The Lamb Curry. I was very disappointed. Quite bland, sad to say. But, I loved the crust! As you’ve might have read, the pies are quite small and so are the sides; mine was Pea Salad w/Mint, delicious! My husband had, Mash Potatoes with the works. After, we were still hungry. We asked again for the menu and ordered Pasty’s. He grew up eating them as his dad was an Irishman. They hit a grand salami on those! You don’t WANT or NEED sauce or mustard for those, ever!!! —-And I LOVE my condiments but this is truly “lovely”….so, beautifully done! Oh, yeah, the drinks? AMAZING! My Crème Brûlée? Some of the very best I’ve ever enjoyed! —-Canlis, Kirsten’s, Wildflower, Anthony’s, Palmer’s….just to name a few. Service friendly Very clean Price Point $72.00 two people (50% off day) One beer, one cocktail, (2) entree, (1) Pasty (1) Crème brûlée ——expensive. But, that’s how it is going out to eat these days. But we will be back.
