Cafe Maure - Casablanca

This small café is located in the historic fortifications of the Sqala of Casablanca, next to the old medina. While you can enjoy a sea view from the entrance, the interior courtyard does not offer the same view. The restaurant is on the pricier side and offers a variety of dishes including roasted fish, sardines, tagines, and couscous. I recommend stopping by for tea in the morning while exploring the old medina of Casablanca. The Sqala, dating back to the 16th century, has been renovated in Moroccan style. Enjoy a lovely breakfast here, as half a day can easily pass by while not just having drinks but enjoying a meal as well. The mornings are peaceful and quiet.
