They usually have quite a few labeled vegan items on their buffet (my personal favorites are their biryani rice, chipotle tofu fajitas, and chocolate mousse made with tofu). Their deli has a decent hummus wrap, too. I only wish they had some WFPB items as their cooked foods are a bit greasy.
They have a hot and cold bar along with a deli where they can heat those items for you and it's great for lunch or a quick dinner. Food ranges from Vegan to Carnivore. Sometimes they forget to put up the info, so just ask. They have an eating area inside and outside or you can take it to go. The shopping is fine but the store on Wade is better. The area is competitive and I'd like them to focus more on the specialty foods like at the bars and deli verse stocking name brands that I can buy at the Food Lion.
Went looking for beyond burgers, found them in the frozen section. Also found a ton of gardein varieties the stores near me don't carry. Today was a good day
Whole foods is usually a vegan staple, avoid this one though. Not a lot of options on the prepared foods and groceries compared to other whole foods. As always whole foods is very expensive.
Pricey so not a regular stop for me. Occasionally worth a trip to see what newer vegan items they may have that aren’t available at my usual shops. I don’t eat anything from the deli or hot bar anymore. They stopped stocking Delight Soy products and that’s very disappointing. I miss the vegan bbq and chicken salad made using Delight Soy.
