Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Cary

Order here for a quick take-out and our food was on time! The store wasn't as clean as I expected, but they were very busy so it explained. The food and the smoothies were great!

It is really rare for me to leave reviews in places because I understand how stressful it can work in customer service jobs like Tropical Smoothie, but I am extremely annoying and disappointed by this special location (Crossroads.) I'm going in, the people who work ALWAYS have the worst settings. I just went in a few minutes, and the staff that worked was just upset as being first, they were sloppy with how they did things, and when the guy finally decided to take my order, he literally had both AirPods in and hardly reacted to me when I talked to him. When I paid and thanked, he didn't answer that he just left and went to the back. When they gave me my smoothie and meal, they had the worst attitudes about it and said here, and again when I took the order and said thank you, literally silent said nothing. If you offer this kind of service, it seems like it's time for a new job. Every single employee I met acted like that. It's weird and just rude.

Have they been working with A/C? on the counter to help you repair A/C? hmmm okay? we ordered our food, and after approx. 15 minutes went to the counter where our sat a half soggy smoothies, apparently they never called our names and someone else grabbed our food, so after back and forth with the young man who works there, he just turned around and went away. assumed they would repair our order, I said back that a young man looked at me and had no warning what I wanted after we just made it through 10 minutes ago. a woman in the back shoulder to him? I told him they had to work on their communication, and I just have a sulter's advice. I sat back and after about 10 minutes, another worker joined the cash register with a big job to hand us over our food, no apologies, no, I'm sorry, nothing. $30 I have ever spent the worst and I will not come back very disappointed

Ordered online. The food was ready on time. Had to search the counter to find my order- all of my smoothies were in different places (mixed with other people's orders) and not packed together (I ordered 3 and expected them to be in a carrier). Sandwiches were together in the same bag. Didn't realize until I got home that we didn't get the four edible straws I paid for. I'll give this location another shot next time I'm in the area.

UPDATE in response to owner: This is not about wait time, there were no other customers and nothing was being prepared by the two employees behind the counter. Once the employee told us they were no longer making anything, I asked to verify the closing time and according to the employee, the cafe was still open for another 42 minutes. Telling us they would not serve us had nothing to do with fresh fruits and veggies. If your policy is to no longer serve any customers 42 minutes before the end of business hours, why stay open? Please consider closing earlier rather than refusing customers at the counter. original post Came here 42 minutes before they closed and the two girls working there said they were no longer making anything.
