Entree portions were substantial and filling, flavors were great and sushi tasted fresh and light. I would definitely go here again.
PRO Their wasabi was authentic with kick, nice! The appetizer sampler page was so worth it! Fresh spring roll was yum! Broccoli chicken, the sauce wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped though the kids ate it. It's an Asian fusion place with mild curries, noodles, pho, tom yum, sushi rolls, sashimi. Their menu is extensive and we're definitely going to go there again and try the other stuff CON The only thing i didn't like is, the sashimi meal had a California maki which should've been all sashimi. If i wanted roll or nagiri, then would've chosen the sushi meal. Miso soup was too watery and not authentic miso soup flavor
My family visited Red Bowl Asian Bistro last night and we were so disappointed. Service was alright, and atmosphere was fine, but... None of our food was hot. My dinner looked and tasted like a microwave dinner. I ordered a spicy mango chicken dish, and there was no spice to it whatsoever. I didn't finish even half of my meal, and definitely didn't take it home for leftovers. The food was mediocre and WAY overpriced for the low quality. We definitely won't be visiting again.
I love Asian food so much, and when I heard about this place with a wide variety of dishes, including sushi rolls, I knew I had to make it up here even though it was pouring outside. I’m so happy I did! It has zen decorations that make you feel relaxed. The lighting is soft, and the music is calming yet modern. For the appetizer, I ordered the Spring Roll and Bang Bang Shrimp. The Spring Roll was lightly fried, and the cabbage stuffing was fresh. The Bang Bang Shrimp was so good!! It was large portioned, so it was like eating a shrimp salad. It was light on my palate because the shrimp was medium-sized, gently dipped in the tempura batter, and they used fresh iceberg lettuce. For entrees, I ordered the Sweet Sour Chicken with Fried Rice and the Snow White Roll and Spicy Tuna Roll. The pineapple in thee Sweet Sour chicken was ripe and would’ve been better if it wasn’t added. The Snow White Roll was cold and the imitation crab on top was chewy. For dessert, I ordered the Banana Spring Roll. The banana went bad, so it was bitter and sweet.Overall: 6.5/10
I stopped by here today for the first time as I was in the area. I’ve been searching for good Chinese food in the Raleigh area. And I’ve finally found it!I ordered stir-fry chicken in spicy kung pao sauce with lo mein on the side. Wow! It was soooo good. I can’t wait to come back and bring the whole family.
