Di Fara Pizza - Cary

Opinions about this restaurant are definitely varied, so I suggest giving it a try yourself. We've visited multiple times, and for us, the best experience has been having lunch at the bar with a couple of slices. The bar service has consistently been good. We usually share one square pizza and two thin slices between the two of us. If you enjoy ricotta, the white pizza is quite tasty, and the classic pizza is excellent too. The square pizza alone is great, but we prefer it with pepperoni. As is common with high-heat pizza cooking, you might occasionally get a slice that's a bit overdone. However, we've found that the slice orders usually come out well, as if they've been taken out early, so when reheated, they don't get overly cooked. We did order a whole square pizza once, and some parts of it were quite well done, making reheating leftovers at home a challenge. We dined there for dinner once, and it was really busy. The staff handled things reasonably well, but they did mix up one person's order, which took a while to be resolved while the rest of us enjoyed our freshly cooked pizzas. My only minor complaint is the use of paper plates and the lack of napkins. This is another reason we prefer sitting at the bar, as it's easier to grab extra napkins without having to wait for someone to come by. On a positive note, they have an excellent beer selection!

We've been to Di Farras many times and it quickly became a great Friday night spot for us. We appreciate the authenticity and it's evident in how incredibly tasty the pies are. We've done takeout once, but prefer dining in. The atmosphere both outside and inside is great. Service has always been friendly and efficient, particularly with server Anthony. We are grateful for his kindness and attentiveness to our dining experience!

Best pizza I've ever had! I can't stop thinking about it—it's truly incredible. My husband usually loads up on toppings, but at Di Fara, he opts for the classic cheese pizza because it's packed with flavor! I've NEVER seen him choose just cheese before, so that speaks volumes! The service is great, the staff is friendly, and the pizza is outstanding!

We’re originally from the Northeast and have been searching for authentic New York pizza. This is their second location, the original being in Brooklyn. Don’t let the prices deter you—the pizza is worth every cent. The dough is fantastic, not flimsy at all, the sauce has a nice sweetness, and the ingredients are extremely fresh. The igloos were a fun touch for our kids as well!

I decided to come here for the ratings. It's a cool pizza spot. I tried a slice of the chaos pizza. It was okay. It was nothing that I would go back four again. However, I am not going to just throw this entire pizza place away since I only ordered one thing off the menu. I also tried the Gin basil smash. It tasted like soda water. I could barely taste the gin. The bartender forgot the simple syrup. He was quite busy, so I will give him a pass on that. But as far as taste for both cocktail and food, I have to give them a minimum score.
