Bocci Trattoria Pizzeria - Cary

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible, I saw ROACHES in the dining room and it was very hot, I guess the AC went out or something, it was so uncomfortable to sit in there and eat. I feel bad for the people who work there because they have to work in that horrible heat ALL day.

I should have read the most recent reviews before I went. The service was poor and slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty (that should have been my first sign). The penne a la vodka used to be good here. It is not any longer. The sauce was a deep red and some of the pasta was hard and crunchy. The stromboli was more bread than anything. The calzone had little to no ricotta in it. When the server came by and asked us about the food, we told her about the calzone. When she returned, she told us that it was just how it was made. When the manager came over and we told him that the pasta dish wasn't penne a la vodka, he said that it was. He blamed everything on the new cook. The only positive is that they did not charge us for the calzone. However, I will never be back. I now can see why the Durham location closed. If this location doesn't get it together, there will be no more Bocci.

Worst pizza I ever had, ordered for take out. Large thin crust, had to search for any cheese, or the tiny shreds of the three toppings added. The crust was burnt through and missing in spots. Never again.

Salmon was horribly overcooked, dry and crunchy. Bolognese was “ok”. Cannoli was nice. The entree portions were very small for how expensive it all was. Would not recommend for takeout.

Really bad tonight. Got the penne a la vodka. Sauce was a deep red color. Extremely salty. Worst I have had in my life. I have had it before from here and it was great. Tonight it was almost uneatable. Another person’s meal was not made as it should be. Not sure who was cooking tonight, but the dogs food was probably better.
