Taqueria Los Compas - Carthage

My son I stopped this restaurant for lunch while on a trip from Minneapolis to Houston. The restaurant is a short drive (6 minutes) from the highway ...but that lunch was absolutely great! It was such a nice change from fast food ...and actually,our order was taken immediately when we arrived and our food was prepared quickly ...and it was delicious. My son ;I were bothglad we had decided to give this place a try!

Best tacos around! I had never been here before but I'll be a frequenter now! The cucumber and lime drink is alone worth a visit. We went back the next day just for the drink lol!

This place is my absolute favorite! They serve the best street tacos I've ever tasted! I find myself coming back every week. The burritos are fantastic as well. Everything I've tried has been exceptional. The portions are generous, with the tacos packed full of meat. The flavors are truly unbeatable. I would give it 10 million stars!

Absolutely fantastic food and customer service! This is definitely some of the best authentic Mexican cuisine I've ever experienced; the spices and flavors were just perfect. We decided to stop by on our way to Branson and couldn't resist returning on our way back – it's that good! We also enjoyed chatting with one of the owners, who was enthusiastic about sharing the restaurant's story. Highly recommend!

Wow! I’ve been searching for an outstanding Torta in the U.S. that matches the quality of those in the Houston area, and I finally found the place. It’s as exceptional as the best I've had and even better than the rest!
