The City Cellar And Loft - Cartersville

Great service and eating, unexpected oasis in a small town.

Returning to Illinois after a family death, we stopped at The Cellar. What a wonderful choice. The setting is lovely—rustic contemporary. The fried green tomatoes and sweet tea, fabulous. Our main courses, desert, drinks—were perfection. And the staff! We walked in solemn and sad, and left feeling nourished in every way.

My aunt, my mom, and I just left the most exquisite experience in The Cellar. The most divine food- words cannot describe the spiritual experience created by the masterpieces placed on plates before us. The service was impeccable, the cocktails were perfectly crafted, the food was beyond comprehension- a transcendental experience of bliss and love. This beautiful atmosphere was comforting, warm, exciting, and I am eagerly awaiting my next visit. The Cellar is the best part of Cartersville that I have seen. Truly grateful. I even got to hug a chef in appreciation and my heart is so full after this experience, thank you all!!!

My order was messed up and was completely their fault. I sent the dish back because it wasn't what I ordered. When the manager came over, he was so arrogant and refused to fix it nor would he take it off my bill. Just hope they don't make a mistake because they will not own up to it.
