The prices are reasonable too.The staff was friendly and really helpful in accommodating our requests. Uncle Ji who was running the shop is a very friendly person as well.
The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer’s mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. We checked the menu and price before we got there and made our orders through phone. The place was a delight to the eyes with so many Indian savories and sweets stacked. The shop is run by a sweet elderly couple and they seemed very courteous. The reason I rate this place a star less is because the samosas’ price was little higher than what was given online and when enquired, were told that there is mismatch between what we saw online and they will work on fixing it. Nevertheless, we ordered 4 samosas, a bakora chaat and a pheni. The taste was so good and we will definitely be getting there often in future, to try the other items.
I don’t even know why i still go to this place even though there customer service is horrible and the workers don’t even know how to talk and attend their customers. I always tell the lady to spice up my food and she ignores it and acts like she doesn’t understand but i clearly know she does. I speak fluent punjabi so there’s no way she doesn’t understand. some of the items in there menus are actually good but majority of them are not. I wish these people started becoming more polite and handle criticism better.
We have invaded and had samosas, pakoras, and discparatha, who were tasteful and not greasy, and their gulab jamuns must try. delicious food and great customer service.
I don't think that any other Indian restaurant is even closing these good, pure authentic Punjabi/North India food, no extra oil / Pickes/ingredients to the point of home style food. in any case it must try.
