Woods Pizza Beer Garden - Cartago

After the botanical gardens and a promenade around the Basilica I spotted this hip looking place on Google and after so-so CR grub for the last 2 days I said, let's go! Not so much for the pizza, which hasn't come yet, but the ambiance. Excellent beer choices and great music. I'm a happy girl. Good day in CR!

I asked for a briefcase and consulted for vegan cheese. they add it but it is an additional of almost 3 thousand colones (which do not mention it at first) all good to have vegan options but should not be as available or it costs almost half of the total dish. updated from the previous exam on 2022-05-09

This cozy place makes great pizza with very creamy vegan cheese. the calzone is delicious!

They have vegan cheese so that they can turn any pizza vegan, I had the calzone with mushrooms and I was not disappointed!

This restaurant is a small, cozy spot with excellent service. We were pleasantly surprised when our order of pizza arrived at our table, along with a bowl of delicious Parmesan cheese, just 10 minutes after ordering. The waitress was attentive and made sure all our needs were met. The only downside was the person at the door who was taking temperatures of customers. He came across as bossy and gave orders in a rude manner. However, he was the only negative aspect of our dining experience. Overall, the prices were fair and the food was great.
