Sueños Del Irazú - Cartago

Stopped by for lunch one the way from Irazú volcano.Ordered the Azteca soup which was very authentic and tasty.The ambiance and service was excellent and is beautifully build like a log cabin with several booths for sitting.

We were frozen from our tours at the top of the volcano, and this restaurant hit the spot! Great coffee, pork chops bigger than your face, multiple rich and hearty stews. The restaurant offers so much more than comida typica.

Stopped there for lunch with a friend after Irazú. It was delicious! Alas I have forgotten what we ordered but the pork on mine was super tender and soo tasty

Soups are the very best. 4 of us order different dishes, served quickly and hot. Don't forget to buy local coffee when you finish your lunch.
