You definitely won't leave hungry or dissatisfied here. The bartender and server were both outstanding!
I have always enjoyed the family-style restaurants found in Basque eateries. JT Basque Bar did not disappoint. The interior tells the story of Carson Valley with a rustic and historical vibe, which I loved. The service was excellent – any questions we had were answered promptly, and our server checked on us frequently and was very friendly. The food was fantastic. Today we had the steak sandwich, which was amazing, and the spaghetti and meatball special was also delicious. Highly recommend!
Step back in time at this historic restaurant for a one-of-a-kind dining experience – a fusion of old world charm and old west sensuality. Cowboy hats and vintage ceramics adorn the walls, and classic jukebox music and vinyl banquet chairs transport you back in time. Meals are served family-style, with five courses including soup, salad, stew, broth, and a choice of entree. Rustic options like lamb shoulder steaks and pork sweetbreads cooked in a red sauce are tender and flavorful. Complimentary wine, bread, and French fries are also included. The service is not only friendly, but also attentive – ensuring that diners leave fully satisfied.
Always a great meal. make them a reservation early. lachs, lamm and huh were the favorite places. there is always vanilla ice when there are nuts allergies. get the hit! always! without them get them not the full experience get seconds of everything they love. my favorite friars, broth, stew and huh. in the bar there was a baskisch after a player.
I have had dinner there for years started in 1979.. And tonight was a wonderful place and time. If you want to be treated like family this is the place.. Thank you for the best dinner in town..
