Great Basin Brewing Company Carson City

Shows one of the best places in town to eat a bite and get a drink. The beer selection is incredible, and the food is just as good. The restaurant is also huge and has a terrace. The service can be a little slow when it is really busy, but waiting is worth it.

Let's go... Michaela the bartender... WOW!!! We ordered the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Wisconsin Beer Cheese Soup and a French dip. The appetizer was amazing, great combination of flavors, perfectly balanced. The soup was boldly flavored, rich and creamy delicious! French Dip was also very good. There were some service problems, mostly timing and communication. But after a couple of conversations were resolved. Michaela (Barkeeper) made the night. She basically knocked out my socks. Michaela knows her things; she is friendly and very knowledgeable... Thank you for Michaela?? I had to go five full stars after everything was said and done because there are 2 stars on this show... Makayla and the cook. Decorative atmosphere is also quite amazing.

The staff, food, and ambiance is fantastic! Amy was friendly, she refilled our water jug without us asking, the staff are team players and help one another out and stop by to ask how we?re doing. Pizza is wood fired, the Carson burger gigantic, their fries and ketchup are so good. Would gladly recommend coming here based on their service and wide selection of food.

Stopped in for a late lunch.. Not the best service,, but not the worst. She must have been having a bad day. She wasn't rude, just not friendly, and we did have to ask other employees for items because she would walk past us, make eye contact, and continue walking. She didn't check in, I think once, maybe. Trust me, once usually is enough, but this day we were really thirsty. Must have been busy, there is an outside sitting area as well. I had a Brew Burger, it was good. Lliked how they didn't pile the pastrami too high. Didn't care for the caramelized onion on it, made it too sweet. Almost everything lacked salt (easy fix). I must say, the gluten free crust pepperoni pizza was actually delicious. The fish-and-chips were tasty as well. The wait was long, and the food was good, but not great.

Great brew pub in downtown Carson City. The food was great and the portion size was rather large. I had the brick chicken and had trouble finishing it. The waitstaff was friendly and the service was prompt. Worth stopping in for a few beers and something to eat.
