Butler Meats Co - Carson City

I purchased the Half Hog Special for $2.98/lb and have been enjoying delicious chops, steaks, sausage, and a beautiful, nitrite-free house-smoked ham for Easter! Incredible value for the quality, and I especially like that they cut and packaged my meat according to my specifications. The worst part was having to choose between Butler 's amazing sausages, which were ground fresh with my order: Basque chorizo, Hot Italian, or bulk breakfast sausage...just yum!

By far the best butcher shop in the Nevada/Lake Tahoe area.

GREAT food! Even a plain old chicken breast from Butler Meats tastes sooooo much better than grocery stores.

Have gone in a couple times now recently, got the turkey pesto panini the first time and then went back in and got the club panini with pepper jack, both were super good for only $5 can't beat that for the quality! They also have the ability to make amazing looking full on deli sandwiches, but will try that when I have someone to share with, not a big lunch eater, but I'm on the go all the time and never on my way home, so it's the perfect place to grab a quick bite. Owner David is super nice and staff very friendly. Their meat selection looks amazing, but again, not on my way home. The inside is clean, cute, and well worth a stop. They have sauces, soups, spices, all you could need for lunch or dinner beyond the meat and deli. Highly recommend!
