Whenever I?m craving a burger it?s their mushroom Swiss burger I have in mind. The flavors are delicious and the mushrooms juicy. Definitely the best burger on the menu, so imagine my surprise when I try to order and they tell me it?s been removedfrom the menu. Not sure why they?d cut this of all options but I won?t be returning unless they bring it back. That is more of acorporate issue and no direct complaint on this location. They?re pretty quick and accurate here
Unfortunately, I have to lower my rating from five stars to two stars. During my last three curbside orders, I waited over 15 to 20 minutes before going inside. The second to last time I visited, I inquired about my drink, and they handed me a cup and told me to get it myself. I would have expected that if I were dining in, but having to go inside like that is frustrating. The staff seems annoyed when a customer comes in to check on their order. On my most recent visit, there were only two people dining, so it wasn't busy at all. I really love Whataburger and think it's far superior to other fast food chains; however, if things don't improve, I may have to reconsider my choices.
Additionally, the floor was excessively wet, with warning signs posted everywhere, yet I still found myself slipping, which was especially concerning given that I am pregnant. To make matters worse, a group of baseball players came in, some of whom were not wearing shoes, which I found to be very unsanitary. It was quite off-putting to see their bare feet while I was trying to enjoy a cold meal. My husband advised me to keep quiet about this experience, saying we wouldn't return, but as a fan of Whataburger, this was just unacceptable. It's unfortunate because this location is the closest one to our home, making it convenient for me after work. The drive-thru was out of service, so a young girl was taking orders outside in the rain, which led us to choose to dine in. However, after this experience, I don't think we'll be returning. The manager seemed to contribute to the chaos, engaging with the staff in a loud and disruptive manner. Overall, we will not come back, and I would like to request a refund for the cold food we received.
When we finally opened the bag, we found that the food was cold. To make matters worse, one of the employees grabbed some trash from a receptacle without noticing that the bag was leaking all over the floor. Unfortunately, two other employees who were hanging out outside walked right through the mess and still didn’t clean it up. Throughout our visit, the employees seemed more focused on goofing off than serving customers. There was only one employee who was actually working hard, taking orders and attending to the customers. With 15 customers present and seven employees on duty, the level of service was certainly lacking and should have been much better.
