Omi Korean Grill - Carrollton

I have only had the AYCE and it's good for the price. Very clean and the service is great they were taking our next order before we were done grilling our last. Better than Gen in my opinion. I've heard their a la carte is great but have yet to tryit.

The Vibes were cool. The waiters were helpful and answered questions. A waiter would often come to cook and cut our food. The grill was often changed and it was difficult to cook food as we had to wait to reheat, but it is an understandable practice. Personally, I needed a guide or chart indicating how long each thing should be cooked when we overtake most of the things. You could also say for pairing with the side dishes and sauces. It was fun to go with friends, but it can be overwhelming at the same time.

This was me and a co-workers first time eating Korean BBQ and it was fun! We didn?t know anything about anything, but, we had fun learning lol. Our waiter was very helpful and patient. Will be coming here again.

It has a nice atmosphere. The meat is not as fresh as Gens and portions are smaller. I think the price was $26.99 per person. I did liked that we didn't need to wait for someone to change the grill. There was a guy making rounds all the time and change it without us asking. The sides were ok. I might be back, but it wouldn't be my first choice if a want to go to a Korean bbq.

Average Korean restaurant. Ordered Beef Bulgogi and Kimchi pancake. Both of them were lacking of flavors. Front desk looked angry all the time and not very friendly, but I got my table quite quickly. Environment is smokey. I know it's BBQ but they should have better ventilation. Overall ambience is not so welcoming. I won't be back. There is plenty of other choices to go in the same are.
