Gangnam Sushi House - Carrollton

The food portions were the right amount and the fish was very fresh! We went on a Saturday night (9:30 PM) and it wasn't packed at all. Since we had such a late dinner, it worked in our favor. I'm not sure how busy it gets during the normal dinner hours though. Miso soup and ice cream is complimentary which is great! Most places charge you for them. I will definitely be back! They also serve Korean food and ramen, however, we did not try any of those. Between 4 of us, we definitely ordered a lot of food because there were just so many options!

The restaurant was really slow for a Sunday evening. So I don't understand why the service was pretty slow also. Our waiter was very polite but he didn't need to question what I ordered. The sashimi was pretty good but a little over price for the area that the restaurant is in. Its also great that they have green tea fried ice cream here!

I wish I could rate this place zero stars! I made reservations through open table and when I arrived they had zero knowledge of what open table was. Every single person on staff spoke very little English and communication was very very difficult. The waiter never came to check on us to see if everything was okay and on top of that my water was never refilled even after requesting twice. I will never recommend this place to anyone neither will I ever return.
