Cowboy Chicken - Carrollton

The food is correct temperature. The servers are friendly, and the young lady (no name tag) smiled the entire time we were there. You really can tell which places care for their workers and customers.

Chicken is always great! Never had issue til today with service. Guy in charge for Sunday lunch was rude and bad mouthing the guys in the back to the cashier, saying he’s ready to start yelling for them to hurry. Then, I was patiently waiting for my meal and he tells the guys in the kitchen that he needs my meal now because I was staring him down. Mind you, I was near as is small lobby but I was lost in my cell phone while I waited. I have worked restaurant so have lots of patience but not tolerance for rudeness, bad food or dirty restaurant. In this case it was the first. As he handed my food I asked if he has some hot sauce. He then goes to struggle with register and says $1.08. Surprised I asked why was charge for a couple hot sauces but if I eat in can eat all the hot sauce I want. He proceeds to say my guys charge for it. I asked again and he said yeah. I told him nevermind as he tried to hand me about half a dozen or more containers of hot sauce (I had only asked for two). Never been charged for hot sauce at this store or any other Cowboy Chicken stores. This guy needs a new job if can’t handle the Sunday lunch rush. Hope he doesn’t mistreat the cooks more when no one is watching.

Brisket always has inedible hard over cooked pieces in about 1/3 of the portion.The manager rudely said they can't be removed because they are pre-portioned (why didn't the cashier tell me that? . The okra is usually more seasoned with spices. Bonus from dining here: your hair and clothes now smell like smoke.

Simple grilled chicken. Sides were ok. OK experience. Please do not have the peach cobbler. It was terrible.Food: 3/5

Love this chicken! Crispy skin on the outside, juicy in the inside. These dinner rolls are really good too. Place was clean, well kept. I ordered the half chicken, all white meat, that came with 2 sides, and also ordered a drink which came out to $16 after tax. Not a bad deal.
