The food was really good and the service excellent, we can't wait to go back, I highly recommend

We went to BR Bistro to celebrate our daughter’s and her friend’s 18th birthday. The menu was varied with lots of choice. Food was piping hot and salads were fresh. I had steak, which was cooked to perfection. Staff were very welcoming and service was top class. I’d highly recommend this restaurant and I can’t wait to go back.

We dropped in earlier in the week and enjoyed it so much we went back again last night.The food is fantastic and is really good value. The staff are so friendly and professional. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. We will definitely be back. The steaks were amazing, as was the Seafood Tagliatelle. I am absolutely delighted to have found this wonderful restaurant.

It’s not the first time we have visited BR Bistro. It’s a must for our family, we just love everything in there. The staff is absolutely lovely, the restaurant is bright and beautifully decorated. We had been very much looking forward to our evening meal this Saturday. And because we liked it so much, we decided to go back for lunch the next day. The food was so delicious and beautifully presented in gorgeous Italian plates. I had King prawns Pil Pil served with focaccia, my husband had a medium rare Steak which was perfectly done as he likes it the best and our two kids decided to have the Seafood Linguine. It was absolutely delicious! And not to forget about the quality of coffee which can be filled in every sip. Ah and the cocktails! OMG The food is cooked by the owner itself, Bashkim came to us and had a lovely chat while the main course was served, he deserves applause. Thank you for one more enjoyable experience. We will certainly be back!

We reviewed BR Bistro back in 2018 and have been returning to this gem of a restaurant since 2017. To this day, it has remained our go-to venue on the many summer weekends we find ourselves in Carrick-on-Shannon. We had another wonderful evening here last weekend. The food, as always, was amazing and the atmosphere relaxing and cosy. Every visit is a special treat. The love and care that goes into the preparation and presentation of every dish on the menu is evident. Ramona and Bashkim and their staff are the perfect hosts from the moment we arrive, leading us to our table and taking time to explain the specials and the array of options on the menu. It’s hard not to opt for everything, but no matter what we choose we are safe in knowing we will not be disappointed. BR remains a consistently excellent and friendly restaurant with decor to match. We recommend it to anybody who finds themselves in Carrick-on-Shannon (but please leave a table free for us). We are already looking forward to our next visit.
