Steel String Brewery - Carrboro

What a great outdoor bar! They have a great selection of beers and ciders on the menu. There were also food trucks and live music, making for a fantastic Saturday night experience.

This is a fantastic local brewery with a great variety of beers available on tap and in cans. I tried the French Freakness stout and the Cryin' Holy IPA, and both were excellent. The atmosphere is inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy some craft brews.

I gave it a 4-star rating because there’s no indoor seating. It’s all outdoors with picnic tables, but the setup is charming and there’s plenty of space! The beer selection was extensive, but there wasn’t anything that really stood out to me.

The restaurant was closed for a private event, so I'll have to try again another time.

Good brews especially the stouts, watermelon wheat, and raspberry kombucha. Service is excellent. Good place to stop in, chill, and have a couple brews. There is outside seating and live music certain days.
