Pizzeria Mercato - Carrboro

I stopped here because it was right with an appointment I had to go to and I am very happy. It is an unfussy pizza place with a generous but not overwhelming menu and great seasonal selection. I had the Zuchinni pizza with chili oil and loved it so much I took one to go! The staff was constantly checked in, but also not transferred, and the dining area is small, but in a cozy way, not crampy.

Delicious pizzas. Decent size components. Menus often change. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dinner can wait a bit. Total excellent experience. Very recommended.

Absolutely the best pizza around the chapel Hill! My favourite is the salami with spicy honey drops. The salads are also amazing. Definitely not the cheapest place BUT it is worth every penny. So if you get the chance to treat yourself, Pizzeria Mercato is the place to go.

Fucking pizza! Thin, crispy, chewing crust with excellent quality. Arancini were perfectly fried and super tasteful. Good, friendly service. Come on!

I haven’t been in person but got takeout and everything was delicious. We got two pizzas, the fritti, the side of foccacia, and dessert. Everything was very fresh and so tasty. We’ll definitely be picking up again soon!
