Gato's Pastizzi - Carramar

Visited Gato's as part of a food tour a number of years ago watched how they made the pastizzis brought some of their frozen products much to my family's delight. Was very happy recently to discover they are still operating apparently they have been going for 25 years that surely says something) their pastizzis are the BEST!!!! so reasonably priced a must if passing by.

If you appreciate a good pastizzi, you must check out this place! It’s a well-organized location, making it easy to find exactly what you're looking for. They offer a variety of pastizzi flavors, from the traditional mushy peas and ricotta to tandoori chicken. Personally, I prefer to buy the frozen bags and heat them up in the oven or air fryer at home for a fresher taste. Highly recommended!

This place is decent for a quick snack, but it might be better suited for frozen options. There were only a few hot pastizzi available, and they seemed to have been sitting out for a while. The prices are lower than in Newtown, but the portions are smaller and not very well filled. The coffee was also a bit disappointing.

The service here is friendly and polite, making every visit enjoyable. The food is consistently excellent. I love having a freezer stocked with delicious meals for those days when I don't feel like cooking. The patizzis are perfect as well, especially when unexpected guests drop by—they're a great option to have on hand!
