The Brussels were a bit over cooked snd not as tasty as usual. The crackling potatoes were perfect. Have to admit, lunch for $50 when you only order water to drink is not a great value.
We arrived a little earlier than expected for our reservation. The front desk staff was very accommodating and had us seated right away in a quiet area. Food and service were very good. We will definitely be back!
We came for Father's Day brunch. We were seated right away on the patio and our server was sweet. My classic ****** Mary was tasty! But the food, which is the #1 reason to go to a restaurant, was disappointing. I ordered the chicken waffles. The waffles were fine but the chicken was incredibly overcooked. Honestly this would have been visible to anyone in the kitchen and the food runner since the fried breading was so dark, but they served it anyway which tells me a lot. My husband had the fried chicken eggs Benedict. Same issue with the overcooked chicken and the hollandaise sauce was sweet, which was odd. One child had the Sriracha chicken waffles (again way over fried) and over sauced and our other child had a grilled cheese and fries, which turned out to be the best thing that was ordered, go figure. Greenville had so many delicious restaurants that we won't make the mistake of dining here again.
My family and I used to love to come here but it has gone down hill. It took us forever to get our drinks( we just ordered water) then we received an appetizer and it looked half full. For how much it was they should have filled the entire bowl. Once we finally received our food our chicken and shrimp was over cooked and some items were cold or wrong. Overall not impressed. For $25 a person I expected way more
What an absolute delight of a restaurant in the heart of downtown Greenville. From the hostess remembering our name after getting a drink as we wait for our table... Kelsey was our server and knew the menu so well. She was prompt with drinks getting out as well as food. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely amazing and then add the grits to it and you got yourself an amazing starter. There are numerous main course options and my fried chicken was delicious and the wife's mahi-mahi was perfectly prepared. The Brussel Sprouts side were crunchy on the outside, but not overcooked one bit. The ambience, service and food quality of the entire restaurant is such a perfect location for a wonderful dinner!
