When we asked for olive oil and balsamic vinegar for the salad (Olive Gardens usually have this), they brought giant bowls filled with olive oil and red wine vinegar, instead of the normal little bottles. Also, to refill our tea, they brought to-go plastic cups full of tea and had us pour them into our cups. The food was also very greasy, more so than normal. And they forgot the mints. Overall, something just seemed off with this Olive Garden.
Our recent visit to Olive Garden Italian Restaurant left us with mixed feelings, and while there were some hiccups, there were notable aspects that deserve acknowledgment.Having received a generous $40 gift card from a client, my wife, nephew, and I decided to revisit Olive Garden, a place we hadn't been to in a while. The initial impression was positive – immediate seating and a friendly waiter set the stage for what we hoped would be a delightful dining experience.Regrettably, our excitement took a hit when the salad arrived slightly wilted, leaving us with a less-than-ideal start to our meal. To compound matters, the main courses were brought to our table before we could savor more than a few bites of the salad. This rushed pacing left us feeling a bit flustered, and it reflected on the overall dining ambiance.Despite the speed bump, the dishes themselves were okay—nothing extraordinary, but certainly not disappointing. The server, recognizing the salad issue, offered to bring us a fresh one, which was a thoughtful gesture. However, with our main courses in front of us, we opted to decline the additional salad to avoid letting our dinners cool down.In reflection, while our experience fell short of perfection, Olive Garden's efforts to remedy the situation were commendable. The warm and friendly atmosphere, coupled with the server's attentiveness, did not go unnoticed. I would rate this visit a solid 3 stars, acknowledging the areas that could use improvement.Olive Garden, there's potential for an even more enjoyable dining experience with a bit of fine-tuning. I've had better meals here at this location in the past, but I appreciate the strides made to address concerns. Here's to hoping for a future visit that captures the true essence of Italian cuisine with the warmth and excellence we know Olive Garden is capable of delivering.
I have no words I order and didn’t come for the food until 3 hours later and it was still hot. 100 recommended Olive Garden I order online love it.
Ordered the Chicken Tortellini with salad. Everything was fresh and really good. The service was top-notch. We were greeted with smiles and checked on frequently. Our waiter, Skylar, was great and attentive to our needs. He noticed my water glass had cracked as he was standing there (was a weird freak accident that there was no explanation for). He immediately took the glass and brought me a new one, apologizing for the inconvenience. Despite the mishap, we still had a great experience. We would definitely eat here again.
Food was good. Service was okay. Overall my son and I enjoyed our Mommy Son dinner date!
