Babaziki - Carolina Township

I was on a roadtrip with several of my friends, and we needed to stop in Greenville to fuel up. While we were there, we grabbed a quick bite to eat at Babaziki for lunch. It's a fast casual Mediterranean place. I ordered the Mediterranean salad, and it was pretty good. It came with chicken, spinach, feta cheese, cucumber, tomato, and grilled veggies with a great vinaigrette. They also threw in a couple pitas. It was a good salad, and portions weren't bad. They offer a you-pick-two option where you can get half a soup and half a salad or half a pita. It was good food, and it was served quickly. Overall, a good stop on our roadtrip.

Pita chips and hummus and falafel is the great although it my be a bit too garlicky. The amount of chips and hummus was plenty for two people! especially for a light lunch or snack We had two orders and took most of it home The tazaki sauce was delicious

I agree with other reviewers who have called Babaziki a Mediterranean Chipotle , especially in terms of atmosphere. It 's a very bright, clean, open restaurant. The employees were friendly and helpful (one of them strongly suggested the pita chips and hummus as a side item when my mom couldn 't decide, and she was right, the pita chips and hummus are delicious especially the chips). I had the Mediterranean Chicken Panini, which was good, but a bit bland. I chose the balsamic tomatoes as a side item, thinking they would go well with the sandwich, and while I think they WOULD have, the balsamic vinegar was so strong as to make them nearly inedible (at least for me). I love balsamic vinegar but I was disappointed in this particular dish. As a note, while I didn 't make use of the sauce bar, the fact that they have one with choices of (at least yesterday) eight different Mediterranean area sauces is pretty cool. Though I wasn 't fond of the items I chose for my lunch, I will try Babaziki and some other dishes of theirs again. However, I will note one more thing: it 's not exactly cheap for our two sandwiches with side items and one drink (I just had ice water) it was just over $20.

We love this place! The food is fresh, amazing and super healthy! The portions have a good size, we get to pick 6 of them between 20+ different sides! The pita chips are super crispy and the food is serve with a warm Pita Bread. I like to come here in a hot day since the hot sides option are just a few. They have more cold options for your plate or pita. We always get the plate here. Around $10.99 plus tax. Not bad for good quality good. The sauce station is delicious too, many different options here. The place is clean and the staff very friendly. We will come back again...

Great fast fresh food options especially for Woodruff Rd. Pita is so yummy....fried and traditional. Love the 80s music.
