Doggie Style Hot Dogs - Carol Stream

They serve a great tasting hot dog. It is sorta a cross between a regular hot dog and a polish. We liked it a great deal. Fries are excellent also.

Wow! Great food and creative menu! If you are tired of the same old hot dog place then this is the place for you! DO NOT expect your typical Chicago hot dog joint. Everything here is fresh and made to order. The menu is creative and offers a great deal of diversity to build, or what they call style your perfect hot dog (char-dog), burger, or potato. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend them for a fresh and hot meal to go or to enjoy in their cozy dinning area. Oh, and don 't forget to grab a treat from their dessert selection, including shakes, fresh baked cookie with ice cream, and cotton candy!

We usually visit Sporty's, but decided to try this place instead. Upon ordering, we found out that they charge an additional $3 to $5 for extra toppings that would typically come with the sandwich. We ordered the double cheeseburger, but the bun was soggy and the meat patties were overly soft. Biting into it felt like eating raw hamburger, even though it was cooked, and the taste was not pleasant at all! Next time we’re in the mood for a burger, hot dog, or beef dish, we’ll definitely stick with Sporty's!

This restaurant has changed owners several times during the 13 years I've been going here, and each new owner has brought their own unique creativity to the menu. I highly recommend this place to anyone searching for a great lunch option. It definitely deserves 5 stars in my opinion!

Quick service and welcoming staff. It was my first time visiting this restaurant. I ordered a Polish sausage, fries, and a drink (they only serve bottled Coke products).
